Revitalized Play! Park Wins CSLA Award

Lake Ontario Park Wins Design Award for Revitalization

A design overhaul on Kingston’s Lake Ontario Park featuring an exciting, accessible playground from Play! by Crozier has resulted in an award by the Canadian Society of Landscape Architects (CSLA).

The Lake Ontario Park Revitalization Project was a recipient of a regional citation as part of CSLA’s 2015 Awards of Excellence, given to honour distinctive designs that illustrate the range of what landscape architects do.

Congratulations to the Scott Wentworth Landscape Group, who spearheaded the project!

The park revamp included new aquatic features, boat launch, accessible walkways and Play! by Crozier play equipment. The improved playground (seen above, photo by the Kingston Herald), features GameTime's Xscape playground equipment with an Elephant Play Rotating Net

Play! by Crozier is honoured to be a part of this revamp, which is said to be drawing in an increased number of locals to the park. Read more about the distinguished award in a recent article by the Kingston Herald. For the full list of recipients, click HERE.
