Magazine showcases CSLA award-winning park in Kingston

A design overhaul on Kingston’s Lake Ontario Park featuring an exciting, accessible playground from Play! by Crozier is showcased in the Summer 2015 (Issue 30) of Ground Magazine for receiving an award by the Canadian Society of Landscape Architects (CSLA)

The Lake Ontario Park Revitalization Project was a recipient of a regional citation as part of CSLA’s 2015 Awards of Excellence, given to honour distinctive designs that illustrate the range of what landscape architects do.

The 2-page magazine spread highlights the design revamp of the iconic waterfront park, which included a shoreline restoration, boat ramp, accessible walking trail and much more. Pick up the latest edition of Ground Magazine to see the full story with images!

The renewed park also includes an improved play space supplied by Play! by Crozier, which features GameTime's Xscape playground equipment with an Elephant Play Rotating Net. Congratulations to the Scott Wentworth Landscape Group, who spearheaded the project!

Play! by Crozier is honoured to be a part of this revamp, which is said to be drawing in an increased number of locals to the park. Read more about the distinguished award in an article by the Kingston Herald
