2014 Environmental Sustainability Brochure Now Available

GameTime, North America’s leading manufacturer of commercial playgrounds, custom play spaces and outdoor fitness equipment, has completed their annual International Organization for Standardization (ISO) audit. To commemorate earning this distinctive certification for 2014, GameTime put together a new brochure to share their commitment to environmental practices with their customers.

The four-page 2014 Environmental Sustainability Brochure details how sustainability is at the forefront of their business; through consistent efforts to source responsible materials, process them in a sustainable way and ensure products can be recyclable at the end of their life cycle.

GameTime has a longstanding history of positive environmental undertakings. They were the first playground manufacturer to become a member of the United States Green Building Council (USGBC), a non-profit organization dedicated to expanding sustainable building practices.

This dedication has continued over the years, which can be seen in GameTime’s manufacturing facility where they have reduced energy consumption by 41% since 2007 and recycled more than 30 tons of paper and cardboard – the carbon reduction equivalent of taking 23 cars off the road. In the past four years, GameTime has consecutively reduced water consumption by roughly 1,000 gallons per year.

In addition, GameTime pledges to use responsible materials that present the lowest environmental impact, yet can still endure the physical demands of active children and extreme weather climates. Today, more than 93% of the materials in GameTime products contain recycled content.

Play! by Crozier, a division of Crozier Enterprises, is a proud distributor of GameTime products and commend GameTime for their ongoing environmental efforts.

“We are proud to partner with a company that echoes our commitment to protecting the future of the planet by minimizing their impact on the environment,” said Play! by Crozier Vice-President Iain Crozier. “This brochure properly outlines GameTime’s promise to environmental sustainability, so that clients are assured they are receiving environmentally responsible play systems that will last for decades.”
